“Hi, I had a family 45 year old Grandfather Clock moved from my now deceased parents’ home in Fayetteville, Arkansas to my daughter’s house in Hot Springs this past weekend. I couldn’t be more happy with D&D’s service, professionalism, care and promptness. I first spoke to Dan in February. He was very helpful, quoted me a very fair price (I had researched moving lines for 5 months prior, as the Grandfather Clock was so meaningful to us and I wanted it taken care of), and did NOT require a down payment. Kevin and Anna picked up the clock, disassembled the pendulum, chimes, etc., and packed it quickly and carefully. Tony in the office called and gave me the tentative dates so I could be ready for delivery. He was pleasant, helpful, professional and above everything put my mind at ease. Both Tony and Kevin called me the day before AND 30 minutes before the delivery was made. The clock got to my daughter’s house in a very timely fashion — they unpacked it, reassembled it and moved it to the place where my daughter wanted. Trust me, if you are looking for a qualified, fairly priced and caring company either for 1 very important piece of furniture or a whole house, D&D are the people you want!! “D&D did a superior job moving 6 pieces of furniture and 30 boxes from my home in Hot Springs to my daughter’s new home in Dallas, TX. I can’t thank Mark, the D&D driver, enough. He was the most friendly, competent and efficient mover I’ve ever used. He was very organized and thorough. I had his cell number and he answered all my calls. The way he carefully wrapped and labeled each piece of furniture was incredibly impressive! He had that giant moving truck impeccably organized. I so appreciate reliable, hard workers during this difficult time, especially with a labor shortage. Every single item was accounted for in Dallas, and he took extra time to make sure everything was delivered in its original condition. Not a scratch or dent and nothing was missing. I highly recommend D&D for small moves (2,000 lbs or less). And if you’re lucky, you’ll get Mark as your driver. I’d use them again for sure! Thanks Mark!”

“I could not have made a better decision than choosing D&D for my move from Hot Springs to Nashville, TN. They safely and responsibly transported many boxes of stuff and my piano. It was a relatively small move and required some flexibility, but it was by far the best deal and arrangement I could find for my needs. The price was very reasonable, the movers were kind and competent, and the sales and administrative staff were responsive and flexible. I’d definitely use them again for future moves. Well done!”

“My husband and I were disappointed in this company. Make sure you get a written estimate! This company underbids others to get the business. Our cost almost doubled from the estimate.

The movers worked hard and were careful with furniture, however my boxes were flipped upside down and must have been dropped, as many items were not just broken but shattered. Mind you, these items were bubble wrapped and in many cases surrounded by pillows. I have moved several times before and packed the same way with no broken items.

The contract that you don’t see until the move is completed and you pay states that the company “is not liable for damage to glass, ceramics, China, or mirrors”. Maybe not, but I expect reasonable care will be taken with a box marked fragile. It should not be flipped upside down and dropped just because they are not liable. These people are supposed to be professionals. The kids I hired to move me a year ago when I moved in broke nothing.

If you use this company you better get insurance.

When we went to pay we mentioned to the movers that our original quoted price had almost doubled and we felt that we had been scammed a bit. The one mover stated that all their customers complained about this. He said customers get mad and he gets frustrated because then they don’t want to tip. I told him that it wasn’t his fault, it’s the fault of the business. We gave the 3 movers each $40.

Shortly after they left we noticed our bed frame and headboard were missing. Called the driver and was told he had the frame and would look for the headboard and bring them Sunday. Never received them. We called the company about the missing and damaged items and were told they didn’t have them and would do nothing about our damaged items. The owner blamed us. He was rude and hung up on us. Not a good way to do business. I have been in customer service for 40 years. You do not treat customers this way. I have never felt the need to complain publicly about a business before. This was a disappointing experience.”

“All prospective customers of D&D will find them to be of high quality with very reasonable value and costs. The two gentlemen who drove to my location were top notch professionals in moving my piano, from pickup at my sister’s home in Little Rock all the way to my living room in Hot Springs Village. They took great care in making sure my piano arrived sound and secure, with no material defects whatsoever. Thank you, D&D; your two employees made all the difference and left a very positive impression that most if not all customers will definitely appreciate!”

When the two items were delivered, the driver and his co-worker did a great job delivering the items and placing them right where I wanted them. “I had a set of bedroom furniture that had been my parents’, so it was a small load. I knew it would take time to find a truck going from Hot Springs to Memphis, TN. D&D kept me informed about the pickup and delivery. The furniture was well protected with blankets and everything arrived in great shape. The men who brought it into my house were courteous and efficient and arrived on time. I would highly recommend D&D for any size moving job.”

“D&D was exceptional in nearly every way. A real excellent crew to deal with — that’s rare that it is ever said about a mover. However, all details were paid attention to and that is why I’m willing to write a nice review about D&D.

I had heard about D&D from a friend that lived not far from our family home in the subdivision. They had a very pleasant experience so we figured we would call the same guys to come out for an estimate. D&D did just that and we felt it was very thorough.

Four men and two trucks came out on the move day. They started by padding all doorways and wood floors. After prepping the home, they prepared the furniture to then be handled. Quick and careful they were.

After we were moved into the new address, they made sure all was built properly and assembled correctly.

The overall move came in just a few hundred dollars over the initial bid. As my neighbor once did, I too will refer D&D.”

“I scheduled my move a month in advance. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. Dan also stayed in touch and did confirmations along the way. It was extremely hot, three stories of stairs and super heavy boxes I had packed! Most of my decor is glass. Nothing was broken! The movers were just great. I wouldn’t use any company other than this one.”

“I am sooooo grateful for D&D and their moving crew!! 4 years ago before the pandemic blew up, I just happened to find their number online. At the time, an apartment locating service dropped the ball with setting up movers on the day of my move. So I had no choice but to scramble and find movers on my own. I decided to give D&D a try even though I was hesitant. Let me tell you, they collected all of my belongings, loaded them on their truck, and brought my belongings to my new apartment. I was so impressed with how quick and careful they were with my possessions.

Fast forward to 2024, I needed to move to a bigger place and I hoped that D&D was still in business. Got in contact with them ahead of time, set up the day and time of the move and got a quote (which was definitely reasonable). So move day approaches and the crew arrived right on time. They quickly gathered my belongings, loaded them on the truck, and moved my things to my new place.

From 2020 to present day, D&D and their team have shown professionalism, courtesy, and consistency. Again I can’t thank you guys enough!! May your business continue to flourish. Bless!!”

“It was all as promised. I came in from Houston needing help moving my daughter out of her 3rd floor apartment.

I booked on Wednesday, received a confirming text on Thursday afternoon, and a phone call Friday morning with a one hour heads up.

I don’t know if it was Mike or JD, but one of them was whistling while they carried those boxes down two flights. Only to come back up those stairs for more.

I only had one piece of furniture to move in my house and they treated my furniture and my house like it was their own. They arrived 5 minutes early (which I like) and after telling them what was being moved and where, they came up with a plan and executed it very well. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a moving company.”

“Found out we had to move suddenly (within two weeks) and couldn’t find anyone with availability. Called D&D and they put our minds at ease! The two movers showed up on time, had all the equipment to safely transport our furniture and even helped me take apart our bed frame! Not to mention, the price couldn’t be beat and the company had all the requisite insurance information we needed to submit to our HOA. We won’t hesitate to recommend D&D to everyone we know.”
